               We are a small group of  5 artists /sculptors, with a passionate commitment to our environment .

          We created an organisation  called    HOO  -  Hearts of Oak     - which administers  our projects and  looks after  our funding and finances.

   Our site is in Suffolk ,  in a field next to a Timber Mill  - with a ready supply of all kinds of wood .

Its called HEAVEN and its great to have visitors.

Ben Platts-Mills   (the Toff)

Originally a painter , now one of the regions best known sculptors in wood, with Public Artworks sited all over Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex........

Ray Brooks (Grammar schoolboy)

Sculptor in many materials - stone, concrete, mosaic, steel, and the last few years in wood - comes from a background of large - scale outdoor theatrical production - big Wobbly Puppets, Fire Sculpture and pyrotechnics.

Andy Harland ( Ish)

Ex tree surgeon - now uses his chainsaws for carving .   Fine and hefty sculptured tables and seats.  Creator of wonderful structures using ash and hazel poles .

 A local chap - Arboricultural whizz kid, environmentalist and lover of Nature - now also a fine sculptor.
